Tamo Terms of Use

Tamo is provided by individual developer Stella Lu. By registering for or using the App, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not register or use the App.

1. Service purpose

Tamo helps cat owners record profiles, daily status, symptoms, medication, and veterinary history. It uses a rule engine and AI to organize records and provide triage support.

“Triage support” means directional guidance about urgency, seeking care, or continued observation. Tamo is not a veterinarian, veterinary practice, or telemedicine service. It does not diagnose, prescribe, or provide specific drug names, doses, frequencies, or treatment courses, and it does not replace examination, testing, or treatment by a veterinarian.

2. Emergencies

For breathing difficulty, altered consciousness, repeated seizures, inability to urinate, major bleeding, suspected poisoning, or any other severe or emergency sign, contact a veterinarian or emergency clinic immediately. Do not wait for Tamo or rely on the App alone.

3. Account and eligibility

Provide an email that can receive verification codes, protect your credentials, and take responsibility for activity on your account. Minors should use the App only with guardian consent and supervision. Do not impersonate others, attack the service, bypass access controls, abuse AI at scale, or use the App unlawfully.

4. Your content

You retain rights you lawfully hold in content you submit. You authorize us and necessary service providers to process it to provide, maintain, and improve App functionality. You must have the right to provide the information and photos and should not submit unlawful, infringing, or unrelated sensitive personal information.

5. AI and rule engine

The rule engine applies predefined conditions to recorded fields and is not a clinical diagnosis.
AI output depends on your input and may omit, misunderstand, become outdated, or hallucinate information.
Verify important information and let a veterinarian make diagnostic, medication, and treatment decisions.
Tamo does not promise that output is complete, accurate, or suitable for every cat.

6. Notifications and reports

Push notifications are supplementary and may be delayed, duplicated, or undelivered; they are not an emergency safety channel. Vet reports reflect existing records, and absence of a record does not mean normal. Review a report before sharing it.

7. Changes and availability

We may update, limit, or suspend features for security, compliance, or maintenance. We will use reasonable efforts to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Termination and deletion

You can permanently delete your account and associated data under Settings → Delete account. Deletion cannot be undone. We may restrict accounts that seriously violate these Terms, harm the service, or must be restricted by law.

9. Limits of responsibility

To the extent allowed by applicable law, the App is provided “as is.” We are not responsible beyond mandatory legal requirements for loss caused by ignoring urgent signs, failing to consult a veterinarian, inaccurate input, or network/provider outages. Nothing here excludes non-waivable liability or consumer rights.
