Tamo uses two tools to help cat owners understand records: a rule engine screens recorded fields against predefined conditions, and a large language model uses the profile, records, and chat you provide to generate explanations, questions, and triage guidance.

What Tamo can do

• organize cat profiles, observations, medical courses, and medication records;
• flag changes worth watching and suggest when veterinary attention may be appropriate;
• explain the basis and information gaps within the available records; and
• create a vet report that you review and choose whether to share.

What Tamo does not do

• diagnose or replace physical examination, imaging, or laboratory testing;
• prescribe or provide specific drug names, doses, frequencies, or treatment courses;
• guarantee that every emergency will be detected or that AI output is error-free; or
• provide a reason to delay or cancel veterinary care.

If your cat has severe or emergency symptoms, contact a veterinarian or emergency clinic immediately and do not wait for the App. A veterinarian should make any decision to start, stop, or change medication using your cat’s weight, examination results, and history.
